Need help with Art exam?
Ok, heres the deal. I need some help on what sort of things i could do to help towards my final piece for the exam, like preparatory work and ideas towards my final piece and such.
The question i have picked to do is :
'Japan'
"The Japanese artists Hiroshige and Hokusai were masters of the woodblock print and they depicted nature using bold compositions and colour.
Study the work of such artists and produce your own work in any media."
And so, you can see i have a wide choice of what i could actually do as the test paper doesn't really give me any guideline to which i should follow specifically... so i was wondering if some people could help me out?
I had the idea of using part of the woodblock print in my final peice, however, i'm not too sure what i could prehaps paint or such in it, maybe alot of traditional iconic Japanese things like the Tokyo rising sun, geishas, cherry blossoms, etc?
Anything suggested would be of great help! Thank you everyone!
Think for yourself and dont rely on other peoples ideas would be my advice.
