How do i sent a bottle of habu sake back to the U.S.?
I currently live in japan however i want to bring a bottle of habu sake with me. Habu sake has a real snake in the bottle (you can learn more about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habu_sake ). I was wondering what would be the best way for me to send a bottle back to the states and what kind of problems i might run into if i tried to mail it.
I just looked this up. Habu sake is not available in the US. And you can't legally bring it here with you. Customs won't allow it. Maybe it has to do with a dead snake being in the bottle? You can try to sneak it in, but if you get caught, there's a chance of you being arrested.I also
read this stuff doesn't age well..It'd be just a matter of time before you had a rotten snake in a bottle.Sorry, but I don't think I would even try it.It'd be a cool keep-sake, but it's not worth the risk.
