Tiling on an old warped wooden floor?
My bathroom floor messed up. There is a section of old warped wooden slats, then an entire side that is made of sheets of plywood (approx. 1/2 cm above the level of the wooden slats).
I need to tile this entire floor, and believe that there is no subfloor to use as my base.
Assuming that I need to tile directly over the wooden slats and plywood, can someone describe the best way to ensure that my tiles are even?
Thanks so much!
You need a clean smooth surface. Put in a new subfloor. Here is a site that you can browse through.
