goldfish in the pond to snuff!?
Ive hey I have a pool of 21,000 liters and shubunkins goldfish seem to be dropping like flies! all they have like an open wound / ulcer in the queue. I know it is a thing called ulcer fish and have treated the water for him, but still no good advice would be helpful. thanks.
Do you know what caused the ulcers, for starters. The treatment of the ulcer is fine, but if the cause is exist then you are fighting a losing battle. Mostly goldfish ulcers are caused by parasites. Flukes can be treated with Prazi and fish and Anchor Worm lice Dimlin use. I recommend feeding an anti-bacterial food for a couple of weeks with treatment. If you look positively rule out parasites predators in water may attack the fish, this could be anything from carnivorous insects to amphibians to land predators such as cats or birds. They are fighting against fish? Is there something sharp in the fish pond could be injured. What are the water conditions? It is a nice size pond, but is filtered and there are a lot of organic material in there?
