Golden Lab 8 weeks old, at home alone most of the day, is it fine to leave them alone this long?
I got my 8 week old golden lab last week, and basically he has to saty home alone during most of the daytime, he is out with me for sometime in mornings and then we try and play in evenings, is it fine for his upbringing to stay home alone, or will this make hime destructive or lazy?
I breed Golden Retrievers and there is no way I would have allowed you to adopt one of our puppies.
First of all if you puppy is 8 weeks this means you JUST recently got him - - Why would you adopt if you knew in advance you would have no time with him?
Yes this will make him destructive - Yes this will cause social problems in the future - Yes this is not fair to him and you should be putting his needs BEFORE your own!!
I am so sorry if this comes off rude - But a puppy is not an ACCESSORY!
