Who is this figure Chinese?
a small statue .. a male figure in China .. and the old man with a mostly bald head ... stand up clothes ... with a wooden stick, which is linked to a water bottle in .. left hand, cupping the bottom of his long beard in his right hand .. his face is .. happy on hand that the vessels of the beard has something ... appears that the loose feathers and flower buds? ... Id love to know who is supposed to is
The figure you are describing is Gong Sau Sing, known as the God of Longevity. He is part of the Trinity known as the three gods of happiness or Three Immortals. The wooden staff, usually in the form of a dragon's head with a bottle, the bottle is actually called a pumpkin or squash, representing their authority. The shape of the bottle, if you look at it closely, it seems that the number 8 and when turned on its side is the symbol of infinity. Back in ancient China, medicine is stored in bottles with this form. Moreover Gong Sau Sing usually has the immortal fruit. This fruit is peach. Peach represents longevity and immortality. It is believed the gods Chinese eat these peaches special to maintain their immortality. Therefore, the peach is considered the immortal fruit.
