Is water good for me to feed my regular Chinese dragon green lettuce?
I want to make my dragon a type of salad and did not know if I could use lettuce.? "I can? Any salad recipes Chinese water dragons, iguanas and please list ....!!!???
Most of us humans eat lettuce without nutrience of reptiles, more or less just water. Kale leaves, mustard, dandelion, endive. Wash and tear into pieces head size, or smaller. whole leaves can also be suspended in their enclosure or area to give them something to work on when you want a snack. Food Hatchlings and juveniles: 2-3 week old crickets which have been uploaded to the intestine also offer (for example, not from a pet store!) finely chopped vegetables and fruits (See iguana salad ingredients for a healthy salad.) As the dragons grow, offer only slightly bigger crickets, and add in some mealworms and baby ('pink') mice, and sometimes a waxworm for a treat. Smaller items are more nutritious and more efficient less digestible than larger items. Eating every 2 days - or more often if they are hungry. Adults: Small mice, four week old crickets, kingworms (Zoophoba) and plant material. Feed every 2-3 days - or more often if they are hungry.
