The advantages of the Specialty and only the finest antique collection!
Asia and unskilled collectors of antiques, in a very long period, we have successfully helped build up collections of really good Japanese netsuke, inro, lacquer boxes, Chinese snuff bottles, pendants, jade and hard stone carvings.
One advantage of the collection of such specialized fields is that most people have no idea what these things are. We believe that on the rare occasions strange when we could have some of these antiques in the house, if the average thief broke and found, most likely, would be the DVD machine or television, which is more likely to be taken.
Two other benefits are available only for the purchase of the finest examples of quality that is provided and when you can afford. The first benefit is that it is sure to increase in value much more than average or poor and you have the pleasure parts much higher possession of them. Has been evident for years of collecting, owning one or two excellent pieces was always a much more, that after twenty years or more, the indifferent. But the second advantage is that these, the best antiques, are well known among most serious collectors and distributors and as the auction room better.
So you must catch a thief any of these treasures and then try to sell, especially the finest examples, the thief it would not be so easy. Because not only are all these pieces well documented and illustrated distributors, but also serious, collectors and auction houses belong to (and have an international information system) when the word would soon be out. The Internet is so useful for the speed with which such information can be transmitted. As unique as important parts are determined to be recognized over time, the police would have a valuable asset back to the culprit.
It is true that there are some high quality antiques have been stolen to order, then these end up in the collections of secrets where the owner does not always dare to display. This is very difficult for the owner as one of the pleasures of enjoying all collectors is being able to demonstrate what they have acquired to fellow collectors. But even if such stolen antiquities end in a place like this, then, although it can take very much longer, there will come a time that will be discovered. Can not occur until the owner dies, but then what you do with the heirs of these collections? If they try to sell, then the chances of such stolen items to be recognized is still very high.
