Tiny Japanese breakfast fish?
Ever since I visited Japan this has been driving me crazy.
When I took a sidetrip to Kyoto for three days, every morning I had a traditional breakfast. Each morning one of the dishes was a bowl full of hundreds of tiny little fish. They were amazing... really crunchy and a great source of protein.
Anyways.
Questions.
1. What are they called? Romaji please.
2. How do you prepare them?
