Any person may arrest Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic
Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic is a heavyweight mixed martial arts fighter with a record 02/04/1922. That's a very impressive record, but the record does not tell the whole story. However, the disc is a good starting point.
Let's examine "Cro Cop" register on the basis of their losses. Mirko four losses coming at the hands of some of the best fighters in the history of MMA, which are (in reverse chronological order):
1) Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira - Former heavyweight champion of PRIDE.
2) Kevin Randleman - Former heavyweight champion of UFC.
3) Fedor Emelianenko - heavyweight champion of PRIDE.
4) Mark Hunt - Former K-1 Grand Prix champion.
Hold on, this guy has lost someone who had no belt? For anyone who at one time or another was not at the top of the sport? No, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic is the real deal. I said earlier that the record does not tell the whole story, so let's analyze these losses a bit and see what we find.
Mirko Cro Cop loss to Antonio Nogueira was by arm bar submission ... in 2003. This is a struggle that dominated Mirko to presentation. Mirko has also won twenty fights, his last five in a row and won the Pride open weight tournament held in 2006. He won the tournament by defeating Minowa, Yoshida, Silva and Barnett. While waiting Minowa, Yoshida is a Judo gold medalist, Silva is the middleweight champion Pride (average weight is up to 205 in Pride) and Josh Barnett a former heavyweight champion of UFC. He defeated Silva and Barnett in the same night.
It 'S Silva Mirko fight against that generated the title of this piece. It was so overwhelmingly dominant in all aspects of the struggle that is difficult for me to image any MMA fighter in any weight class beating Mirko Cro Cop this time. I certainly do not see any competition in the UFC. Once Mirko wins UFC heavyweight title (he will win), Dana White, will have to stop looking someone who can beat Tim Sylvia and start looking for someone who can compete with Mirko "Cro Cop"! Can anyone say "Fedor"!
