A new Midwest Art Fair in western Indiana, what is your interest level? Arts & Crafts, pottery, glass, etc.?
A brand new Art Fair is being proposed in a small western Indiana town for the purposes of developing an Art community by providing the land and opportunity to present local and National Artists across the US. Open to suggestions, artists that are interested are encouraged to respond. The location has yet to be finalized, but would start at 3 acres and could expand to as much as 10+ over time. Competitive rental and relaxed atmosphere in a country setting. Also interested in developing a Rennaissance Faire in this region.
I live in Indiana and would drive there to attend.
Personally I like glass, pottery, iron works (Blacksmith), jewerly, wood work, and quilts.
I would also attend the Rennaissance Faire.
Have you thought about Civil War Reenactments? They have one in my old hometown here in Indiana and people from all over the Midwest attend.
It sounds great. Would the Art community have shops open year round or only at special times during the year?
