Does anyone know how to open an antique desk closed using a master key?
I have an old style desk with a large upper deck roller. That fits a skeleton type key. When I moved to the top of the table and the key got lost. I have tried to blow up the blockade, putting things in the set to open, removed the plate that surrounds the whole key. The plaque says Mona Lisa, I do not know if it will help someone figure the type of desk. There is no way to go in the lock, but with the key. Help!
The first thing you have to do is determine what type of master key is needed, ie one that requires lock to go "on" key (the key will have a hole in the center), or is that it has a solid key, so that when placed in the hole that leads blocking allowing the key to activate.
